Revealed: 85 companies shortlisted for 2022 CN Specialist Awards

The shortlist for the 2022 CN Specialist Awards was announced today.

A total of 141 entrants passed the first round of judging, with 85 companies represented in 21 different categories.

The AR demolition specialist leads the pack with the most nominations – shortlisted in no less than seven categories. It is up for accolades for excellence in training, health and safety and innovation, and is also shortlisted for a project of the year and two specialist of the year awards. The company is also up for the most coveted award of the night: Outstanding Contribution to Specialized Construction.

Erith Group follows closely with six shortlists, vying for awards in the Demolition and Ground Engineering Specialist of the Year categories. He is also shortlisted for Specialist Contractor of the Year with turnover over £25m and in the Health and Safety and Training Excellence categories. Finally, a young Erith employee is also in the running for apprentice of the year.

Four specialist firms won five shortlists each: civil engineering and earthworks specialist Galldris Services; demolition specialist John F Hunt; the engineering contractor Kilnbridge; and mechanical and electrical contractor NG Bailey.

Entrants were judged by a panel of 90 experts from a wide variety of disciplines across the construction industry.

The winners in each category will be announced at a celebratory black-tie dinner, to be held on September 22 at The Brewery in the City of London.
